Buresh earns first win as FB takes down M-G

Covid-19: Before entering sporting events at Mississinewa High School and RJ Basket Middle School masks are required and please social distance so Indian athletes can keep doing what they love.

Football: After losing the first three games of the season, Coach Buresh and the Indians took down Madison Grant on Friday night 34-12 to move to 1-3 and 1-1 in the Central Indiana Conference.

Tennis: “On Saturday, the Ole Miss Tennis Team traveled to Northeastern.  John Oliver, Ethan Sample, and Hayden Rowley swept the singles spots for the Indians in the 3-2 win.  Mississinewa is now 11-4 on the season and will travel to Alexandria on Monday to continue our conference play…..#1 doubles player Ryan Scott was out due to Injury” -Coach Fleming.

Volleyball: No stats were reported from this weekend.

Girls Golf: The Ladies placed 3rd with a 394 at the Grant Four on Saturday at Arbor Trace. A. Brubaker placed 2nd place as an individual with a 88.

Cross Country: No stats were reported from this weekend.

Tennis moves to 5-0

Tennis: Coach Fleming and his Indians served to a 3-2 win over Northwestern last night to move to 5-0.

Volleyball: No Scores or stats were reported from last night.

Soccer: The Indians lost to Marion Last night 6-3. Hat trick was by Colin Yoder.

-MHS Football at New Haven 7pm

Girls Golf: The Lady Indians hosted Bluffton last night.  The Indians played well but fell to the Tigers 199-211.

-Brubaker – 42 (Medalist – Career Low)

-Miller – 63

Football: The Indians lost Friday night to Pendleton Heights in week one 0-27. No stats were reported.

Volleyball: The lady Indians lost to Northfield last night. No stats were reported.

Tennis: The Indians defeated Western Tuesday night 4-1 to move to 4-0.
1S: J. Oliver won 6-1, 6-3
2S: E. Sample won 6-2, 6-2
3S: H. Rowley 6-0, 6-0
1D: R. Fuqua / R. Scott won 6-2, 6-1
2D: K. Smith / A. Tignot lost 6-0, 6-1
*JV: Western won 2-0

Soccer: Lady Indians soccer fall to Huntington North Tuesday night 7-0. No stats were reported.
Boys soccer loses 3-1 against Liberty Christian Tuesday night. Goal was by Evan Yoder.
