Track opens 2022 campaign at Indoor state qualifier

This past weekend Coach Vanwinkle and his track team kicked off the 2022 campaign at the indoor state qualifier hosted at IWU in the Troyer Fieldhouse. Hayden Nelson breaks indoor track school record in the 60 meter dash with a 7.05 time. Four more Indians placed this weekend. The below Indians placed.
– Carsyn Yeakle 9th overall in the women’s Long Jump
– Peyton McPeak 20th out of 54 runners in the men’s 60m dash
– Kaiyah Jones 18th out of 50 runners in the women’s 60m dash 
– Kendal Emmons pole vault indoor record with a vault of 7′

Indians fall in last regular season game, eyes state tournament

The Indians were on the road Friday night as they visited Manchester on their senior night. The Indians were without senior Hayden Ulerick in the 42-61 lose. The Indians were unofficially lead by Lucas Asbury’s 11 points. No official stats were reported. The Tribe now gets ready for the 112th IHSAA boys basketball state tournament as they drew Bellmont for Tuesday nights match up at Norwell starting roughly at 7:45pm.
