Boys and Girls soccer win, #24 Tennis wins and Volleyball fell to MG

Volleyball:

The Lady Indians fell to Madison Grant last night in three sets. The ladies are back in action this Saturday as they travel to Roseville High School for the Hornet Invitational starting at 9am. 

Boys Soccer:

Boys Soccer took down Muncie Central last night on Fisher Field 3-2. No stats were reported at the time of post. 

Girls Soccer: 

Coach Wilson and her ladies improve their record to 5-2 after a 9-2 win over the Muncie Central Bearcats. Goals by Lia luchetti with 7, Michaela Cook with 1, and Avery Wilson had 1.  Assists by Avery Wilson 2, Audrey Spencer1, and Ahlissa Wynne 1.

Boys Tennis: 

The #24 ranked Indians took down Maconaquah 4-1 last night to move to 11-2 on the year. The team is back on the road tonight at Northwestern as they resume that match due to weather a few weeks ago. 

#1S: Riley Fuqua defeated Mason Yoars 6-4, 6-0
#2S: Hayden Rowley defeated Hayden Maiben 6-1, 6-0
#3S: Micah Lord lost to Hayden Williamson 6-2, 6-2
#1D: Ryan Scott / John Oliver defeated Hays / Bailey 6-0, 6-2
#2D: Garrett Spencer / Kannen Smith defeated Smithley / Thompson 6-1, 6-1

Baseball takes down Madison Grant, takes CIC plate back to Gas City

Baseball: The Indians took down Madison Grant for the second time this season 3-1 last night. Keaghan Williams went all 7 innings and only allowing 6 hits. Williams had 8k’s and only 1 walk.

Softball: Varsity Softball falls to MG 9-2

Girls Tennis: Last night, the Olemiss Tennis Team travelled to Hamilton Heights, where they picked up a 4-1 victory.  Winners were Madison Fuqua, Taylor Kern, Olivia Lucas, Ella Frantz/Hallie Sullivan.  The JV Team won 4-0 with wins by Val Neal, Kylee McMahan, Camille Arbogast, and Lily Walton.  The Indians will travel to Concordia to play in an 8-team invitational on Saturday.

Girls tennis with big CIC win over MG and Track Grant 4 in action tonight

Today’s Tribe Sports Report written by the Tribe Sports Network’s Ryan Scott.

Track and Field: Tonight, it’s the 2021 Track Grant 4 hosted by Mississinewa. Ole Miss, Eastbrook, Madison Grant and Oak Hill will be battling it out for the Grant 4 Championship at Fisher Field.

Softball: The Lady Indians lost last night to Frankton 8-2. No stats were reported.

Baseball: The Indians lost 6-4 to Frankton last night. No stats were reported at the time of post.

Girls Tennis: Girls Tennis hosted CIC and County rival Madison Grant last night and won 5-0. #1 Doubles of Ella Frantz and Hallie Sullivan stay undefeated at 10-0. No stats were reported at the time of post.

Boys Golf: The Indians were in action last night against Oak Hill. No stats were reported at the time of post.
