Boys soocer takes down Blue devils, Girls soccer sectional Kicks off today.

Today’s Tribe Sports Report written by the Tribe Sports Network Director Ryan Scott.

Indian News . The Football sectional paring show will be this Sunday at 5pm on https://www.ihsaatv.org/.

Volleyball. The seven team sectional was announced and the Lady Indians will play Oak Hill in match 3 of sectional 24.

Boys Soccer. Coach Reel and his squad took down Tipton 6-1 last night in the Oak Hill sectional. Goals by Colin Yoder (3), Holden Brown, Hayden Ulerick and Cameron Sizemore. Cody Nantz had 3 goal saves.

JV Football. The team took down Frankton 46-0 on Fisher Field last night. No official stats were reported.

Tennis . The Ole Miss Tennis team will be represented in the IHSAA doubles state tournament starting today. 1 doubles of Ryan Scott and Riley Fuqua will take on Jay County at Marion starting at 5:30.

Indian News . Grant Four Volleyball is set for next week with the varsity event on Saturday, and the junior varsity competing on Wednesday. MCSCAthletics.com has more information on both events including the event pairings.

Sectional pairing information is available online with upcoming IHSAAtv shows releasing both the volleyball and football match-ups.

MHS Boys Tennis . The Indians wrapped up the season as a team last night with a loss in the sectional championship to Marion 3-2. The singles courts were lost, but the doubles served wins in the contest. One-Doubles of Riley Fuqua and Ryan Scott will advance in the Individual Bracket next week.

Tennis to play for SECTIONAL Crown

Indian News. You can watch Mississinewa football live this Friday in week 7 as the Tribe takes on CIC rival the Frankton Eagles on Fisher Field. The Meijer pregame show will start at 6:30 with Ryan Scott (play-by-play) and Riley Fuqua (Color Analyst) on the call. Watch Live on https://www.youtube.com/c/MCSCAthletics.

Boys Soccer. Coach Reel and his Indians lost to Oak Hill last night 3-4. Goals by Holden Brown (1) and Collin Yoder (2). Assists by Brown (1) and Thomas Steelmen (2). Cody Nantz had seven saves in goal.

Tennis. Coach Fleming and his Indians beat Blackford 5-0 last night to move to the Championship round of sectional 44 tonight as they play Marion at Marion starting at 5pm. Mississinewa had 6-0 6-0 at all five spots. John Oliver won by a forfeit. Come out tonight and cheer the Indians on as they play for the sectional crown.
