NASCAR- The NASCAR Cup Series made its first appearance to Talladega yesterday afternoon in what was a very wild day for racing. Brad Keslowski took the checkered flag on a last lap pass to win his first race of the 2021 campaign. “What an awesome day, I had a couple of opportunities to take the lead today but I wasn’t going to force the issue. I just tried to save my stuff until the end and thankfully enough we were able to come out of here with a win” said Keslowski. The NASCAR Cup Series will head to Kansas this weekend.

United States Auto Club(USAC)-  The USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car Series headed to Pennsylvania this past weekend for the “Keystone Invasion”, things kicked off at the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania. The driver from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Brady Bacon continued his domination at Grandview making it 4 consecutive USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car victories at Grandview. Night two headed to Big Diamond Speedway in Pottsville, PA where Minden, Nevada native Tanner Thorson would pick up the win. Thorson drives the number 19AZ for Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports with AME Electrical, Mesilla Valley Transportation, and Competition Suspensions on the side of the car. Greenfield, Indiana’s CJ Leary won on night 3 of the Keystone Invasion at BAPS Motor Speedway marking his first win of the season off the checklist. The final night of the Keystone Invasion saw Tanner Thorson return to victory lane at Path Valley Speedway Park. The Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car Series return to action on May 7th and 8th at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the #LetsRaceTwo weekend. The United States Auto Club is in action this weekend at “Indiana’s Baddest Bullring” Kokomo Speedway with the NOS Energy Drink National Midget Series for the Kokomo Grand Prix.

MLB- A huge shakeup in the National League Central Division in the last week has switched the standings all around. A week ago today the Cincinnati Reds were in first place in the division with a comfortable lead. The Reds have now lost 7 straight; they sit on the bottom of the standings today. The NL Central is now led by the 13-8 Milwaukee Brewers. The St. Louis Cardinals are sitting in 2nd place at 11-10, Pittsburgh Pirates 3rd 11-11 and the Chicago Cubs 4th at 10-11. Tonight Chicago is at Atlanta, Miami is in Milwaukee, Philadelphia is in St. Louis, and Cincinnati heads west to LA to take on the Dodgers.

NBA- The Indiana Pacers have been in cruise control since last Wednesday winning their 3rd consecutive game last night defeating the Orlando Magic 131-112. Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The Pacers were without Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner for the 3rd consecutive game forcing Oshae Brissett into his 3rd start. Brissett has been a huge asset to this Indiana Pacers team with the ability to stretch the floor. The Pacers currently sit 9th in the Eastern Conference and return to action on Tuesday against the Portland Trailblazers.
