Girls Tennis hosted Muncie Burris last night. Here is what Coach Bruce Fleming had to say, “On Monday, the Ole Miss Tennis team hosted the Owls of Muncie Burris.  It was a great match that saw four of the five varsity courts playing three-set matches.  With the Indians capturing the #1 singles position in straight sets.  all other positions split the first two sets.  After Katie Powell and Tyra Stanley won their 3rd set at #1 doubles, Maggie Herring won a traditional third set tie break to give the Indians the team victory.  Mississinewa is now 7-2 and will host Madison Grant on Thursday.  Their match vs. Western, scheduled for Tuesday this week, was postponed until May 12th.”
