Indians Football traveled to Oak Hill on Friday to battle the Eagles in a CIC match-up. Mississinewa won 60-0 in a game where the Indians totaled over 600 all-purpose yards. Heisman Skeens scored five touchdowns for the Indians helping the team overcome 13 penalties throughout the game, which was a minor hiccup for the victory. The “Cade’s” continued to have great performances as Campbell and McCoin both added huge offensive contributions. The Indians drew Frankfort (0-7), in the IHSAA opening round of sectional. Frankfort will host that game on October 20th.

Volleyball fought off the Eastern Comets to win 3-2. The junior varsity squad also won 2-0. Varsity sets were 25-14, 22-25, 19-25, 25-10, 15-11. Halle Planck rallied 14 kills, 3 blocks, and 3 aces for the Indians. Erika Foy had 13 kills, 8 digs, 2 blocks, and an ace. Kenzie Skeens accumulated 41 assists and Madison Stanley added 12 digs.

Cross Country had a great performance at Indiana Wesleyan in the CIC races this weekend. The big story was Brennan Butche repeating as CIC Boys Champion with a time of 15:55.8. Johnathan Tucker and Jacob Ehmer also earned All-Conference along with Carli Fones who placed 8th in the girls race (21:12.1).

Girls Soccer picked up a late goal by Beth Lucas to defeat Taylor 1-0. The girls prepare for Sectionals this week against Maconaquah in the opening round of play.

RJB Tennis Boys and Girls both defeated Manchester and the RJB 7th Grade Volleyball team won the 2017 CIC Championship.
