Spring Schedules have been released on MCSC Athletics.com for both MHS and RJB athletics. Check out each team page or visit the Calendar page for a complete listing of events. These schedules may change before opening day, and MCSC Athletics will update as needed.

Tonight’s Events . MHS Boys Basketball travels to Frankton tonight for another CIC battle. Kyler Funk will wrestle at the Ft. Wayne Semi-State on Saturday in the coliseum.


Today’s Sports World Update

Winter Olympics . North and South Korea showed unity at the games by sitting side-by-side. Curling continues today as well as the launch of the snowboarding competition.

NBA . Indiana will face Boston tonight at 7:30pm. Boston is in first place in the Atlantic conference while Indiana sits third in the Central Conference.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Duke fell by four points to North Carolina in the Dean Dome last night. Ball State plays Kent State tonight on ESPNU at 9:00pm while the Hoosiers face Minnesota at 7:30pm on Fox Sports One.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . The Lady Hoosiers defeated Illinois last night 70-54. Minnesota took control over Purdue with a 78-74 win. The Butler women play DePaul tonight at 7:00pm.

NAIA Men’s Basketball . On Saturday, the Wildcats will face Saint Francis on the road as Taylor hosts Goshen.

NAIA Women’s Basketball . Looking ahead to the weekend, IWU plays at Saint Francis on Saturday, and the Lady Trojans will host Goshen. Both of those games start at 1:00pm.

Frosh lose to Marion in tough battle

MHS Boys Basketball . C-Team basketball followed up last night with another contest against Marion. The freshman team lost 42-31.

RJB Boys Basketball . 6th grade visited Justice to play an A and B game. The A-Team lost 67-27. Nolan Quaderer led the team with 10 points. The B-Team also lost 26-14.

Tonight’s Events . This weekend the Indians will travel to Frankton on Friday for a CIC Boys Hoops battle before Kyler Funk wrestles at the Fort Wayne Semi-State on Saturday.


Today’s Sports World Update

Winter Olympics . Curling, Freestyle Skiing, and Ski Jumping are the current events taking place at the winter games. The United States is 1-1 in the Mixed Curling competition.

NBA . The Pelicans and Pacers game was put on hold due to moisture on the court, and an apparent leak in the roof.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . #14 Ohio State upset #3 Purdue in Mackey Arena last night 64-63. Carsen Edwards had 28 points on 8 of 13 shooting for Purdue in the loss. Tonight, one of the biggest rivalries in college basketball will take place on ESPN at 8:00pm between #9 Duke and #21 North Carolina.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . Purdue takes on Minnesota, and Indiana faces Illinois tonight. Both games start at 7:00pm.

Boys Hoops falls to Marion

MHS Boys Basketball . Coach Cunningham and the JV Indians fell to 13-4 on the season with a loss at Bill Green Arena last night to the Marion Giants. Payton Ensor led the Indians with 8 points in the 40-32 loss. The Varsity team struggled in the second half, and they also lost to Marion 85-49. The Indians are now 11-6 heading into the home-stretch of the season with a tough Frankton team on Friday. Anthony Horton and Elijah Bounds led the Indians with 13 points each.

Tonight’s Events . MHS Boys Basketball C-Team travels to Marion tonight to face the Giants at 6:00pm. The RJB 6th grade Boys Basketball team also visits Marion to play Justice at 6:00pm. This weekend the Indians will travel to Frankton on Friday for a CIC Boys Hoops battle before Kyler Funk wrestles at the Fort Wayne Semi-State on Saturday.


Today’s Sports World Update

Winter Olympics . The 2018 Winter Olympics kick off today in Pyeongchang. The event is launched with the Curling round robin stages.

NFL . The Colts almost picked up a new head coach in Josh McDaniels. He decided, in a strange turn-of-events, to remain with the Patriots.

NBA . Indiana, at 30-25, will face the Pelicans tonight at 8:00pm. Both teams have had similar seasons.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . The Butler Bulldogs took #5 Xavier to overtime before eventually falling 98-93. Ball State defeated Bowling Green 59-56, and Notre Dame topped Boston College 96-85. The big game tonight places #3 Purdue at 23-2 against #14 Ohio State. The Big Ten Network has coverage starting at 8:30pm.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . The Ball State women take on Eastern Michigan at 7:00pm on ESPN3.

NAIA Men’s Basketball . The Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats hosted the Taylor Trojans last night. IWU picked up the win 95-86. On Saturday, the Wildcats will face Saint Francis on the road as Taylor hosts Goshen.

NAIA Women’s Basketball . Taylor will travel the ten miles to Indiana Wesleyan to battle the Lady Wildcats at 7:00pm tonight. Looking ahead to the weekend, IWU plays at Saint Francis on Saturday, and the Lady Trojans will host Goshen. Both of those games start at 1:00pm.
