Lady Indians Bring Down Apaches & Tigers

Even though the Boys Baseball game was postponed last night (rescheduled for Wednesday, April 12 at 5:00pm, Watch Live on TheCube), the Lady Indians still battled.

Mississinewa Softball defeated Wabash 13-1 on the road. Foy and Leavitt teamed up for a no-hitter. Bennett and Foy were 3-3 at bat, and McKee, Patton, and Sands were each 2-4. The Lady Indians had 15 hits. The JV Softball team lost to Western 7-9.

The Girls Tennis team defeated Bluffton 4-1 at BHS preparing for the in-county contest on Thursday against #25 Marion. Haleigh Rowley, Heidi Rowley, and Maggie Herring all came away with Singles wins with Katie Powell and Gabby Stephenson at the #2 Doubles position. The JV team also won 5-1.

RJB Soccer also played last night against Western losing 1-3.

Progress on the new turf field and track project continues. Below is aerial footage from the brand new TribeTV DroneOne. Scheduled completion of the project is for late July.

Softball Wins Opener 19-3

On Tuesday, April 4 the Lady Indians opened the season hosting Wapahani. The Lady Indians won 19-3.

Spring Break Reminders

Mississinewa Community Schools Spring Break
March 17-27, 2017
(Reminder that there is no school this Friday, March 17 or Monday, March 27.)

Spring Media Day for Mississinewa High School athletics will be held on Thursday, March 30 beginning at 2:30pm. Coaches will receive information and a schedule of pictures over Spring Break.

All spring sports are now in-season. Softball and Baseball will officially kick-off the season on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Track, Tennis, and Golf will open up play the following week. Please check the team web pages for more schedule information.

Construction Reminder: Please be cautious as construction and other operations are scheduled to begin very soon on the football field and track.

Mississinewa 2nd at Spring Bash

On Monday, Mississinewa athletes competed in the annual Spring Bash Weight Meet hosted by the Mississinewa Football team. Muncie Central , Elwood, Tipton, Jay County, and Twin Lakes competed alongside Mississinewa in four events; 40 yard dash, power clean, squat, and bench press. Muncie Central took home the top team award as well as the top individual performance from Xavier Cleaves. Mississinewa earned second as a team, and below are the top five individual performances from the Indians.
