Varsity Softball was in the spotlight tonight as they hosted Lapel. This was the first time the team played in a live stream on TheCube, and they served their audience well with a 7-3 win. From the team’s Twitter account, Sands was 4-4 with a homerun and 6 RBI’s. Patton went 3-4, and Leavitt, Stanley, and Cruzan all had doubles.
JV Baseball played at home on Atkinson Field against the Peru Tigers. They lost in a close battle 2-4.
Girls Tennis hosted Wabash to round out the home events for the evening. The Lady Indians won 4-1. TribeTV will have 360-VR video of Court One to share later this week!
Congratulations again to Noah Harris as he signed tonight at Mississinewa High School to continue his baseball and academic career at Goshen.

Baseball kicks off the week as they travel to Maconaquah tonight for a 5:00pm first pitch. Softball will feature two doubleheaders this week including one against CIC opponent Alexandria on Thursday. Track & Field travel to Blackford on Tuesday and then compete at the Twin Lakes Relays later on this week. Boys Golf also has a packed week finishing on Saturday at the Eastbrook Invitational. Girls Tennis has two early matches this week then travels to the Muncie Central Open on Saturday. Even though the Boys Baseball game was postponed last night (rescheduled for Wednesday, April 12 at 5:00pm, Watch Live on TheCube), the Lady Indians still battled.
Mississinewa Softball defeated Wabash 13-1 on the road. Foy and Leavitt teamed up for a no-hitter. Bennett and Foy were 3-3 at bat, and McKee, Patton, and Sands were each 2-4. The Lady Indians had 15 hits. The JV Softball team lost to Western 7-9.
The Girls Tennis team defeated Bluffton 4-1 at BHS preparing for the in-county contest on Thursday against #25 Marion. Haleigh Rowley, Heidi Rowley, and Maggie Herring all came away with Singles wins with Katie Powell and Gabby Stephenson at the #2 Doubles position. The JV team also won 5-1.
RJB Soccer also played last night against Western losing 1-3.
