Track opens 2022 campaign at Indoor state qualifier

This past weekend Coach Vanwinkle and his track team kicked off the 2022 campaign at the indoor state qualifier hosted at IWU in the Troyer Fieldhouse. Hayden Nelson breaks indoor track school record in the 60 meter dash with a 7.05 time. Four more Indians placed this weekend. The below Indians placed.
– Carsyn Yeakle 9th overall in the women’s Long Jump
– Peyton McPeak 20th out of 54 runners in the men’s 60m dash
– Kaiyah Jones 18th out of 50 runners in the women’s 60m dash 
– Kendal Emmons pole vault indoor record with a vault of 7′

Baseball takes down Madison Grant, takes CIC plate back to Gas City

Baseball: The Indians took down Madison Grant for the second time this season 3-1 last night. Keaghan Williams went all 7 innings and only allowing 6 hits. Williams had 8k’s and only 1 walk.

Softball: Varsity Softball falls to MG 9-2

Girls Tennis: Last night, the Olemiss Tennis Team travelled to Hamilton Heights, where they picked up a 4-1 victory.  Winners were Madison Fuqua, Taylor Kern, Olivia Lucas, Ella Frantz/Hallie Sullivan.  The JV Team won 4-0 with wins by Val Neal, Kylee McMahan, Camille Arbogast, and Lily Walton.  The Indians will travel to Concordia to play in an 8-team invitational on Saturday.

#2D: Alicia Hunt / Isabelle Lucas lost 6-4, 2-6, 10-5

#1S: Val Neal won 8-4
#2S: Kylee McMahan won 8-0

Baseball with quick work over Marion, Senior Night tonight

Baseball: Indians beat Marion 18-4 in 5 innings last night. The Indians play tonight on Atkinson Field Against Alexandria at 5pm. Senior night will be before first pitch.
