The Hot Weather brings the Hot Starts!

The spring sports season has arrived! All of the Indian teams are underway and making some noise so far early in this season.

The softball team has jumped out to their best record in years by starting the season off 6 and 1 with their only loss coming to a very strong Lapel team. Continue to follow their season as they look to make a huge run this year. Their next game is this Saturday, April 22. It will be a double header against Logansport @ Mississinewa.

The baseball team has also started off pretty good. They sit at 4 and 5 after a very tough loss to CIC rival Oak Hill. They look to bounce back against Bluffton on the road on Aril 22nd.

The girls tennis team has started off the season by winning 4 of their first 5 matches and it easily could have been all 5 when they lost to Marion 2 to 3. The tennis team is led by Seniors Maddy Fuqua, Camille Arbogast, and newcomer (exchange student) Sofia Caciotti. The tennis team will face of against Cantebury on Saturday as well.

The track team hasn’t placed well overall in their meets so far, but they have had several school records being broken, and several athletes have won their individual races. Senior Hayden Nelson is continuing his amazing track career this season and looks to make it back to State and to capture that allusive state title in the 100 meter dash!
