Baseball: On Saturday, the Indians won game one of the Grant 4 against Madison Grant then, fell to Oak Hill in the Championship.

On Saturday, the Lady Indians lost in game one in the Grant 4 10-0 to Madison Grant.

Girls tennis with big CIC win over MG and Track Grant 4 in action tonight

Today’s Tribe Sports Report written by the Tribe Sports Network’s Ryan Scott.

Track and Field: Tonight, it’s the 2021 Track Grant 4 hosted by Mississinewa. Ole Miss, Eastbrook, Madison Grant and Oak Hill will be battling it out for the Grant 4 Championship at Fisher Field.

Softball: The Lady Indians lost last night to Frankton 8-2. No stats were reported.

Baseball: The Indians lost 6-4 to Frankton last night. No stats were reported at the time of post.

Girls Tennis: Girls Tennis hosted CIC and County rival Madison Grant last night and won 5-0. #1 Doubles of Ella Frantz and Hallie Sullivan stay undefeated at 10-0. No stats were reported at the time of post.

Boys Golf: The Indians were in action last night against Oak Hill. No stats were reported at the time of post.

MLB- Winners yesterday in Major League Baseball Include Twins, Marlins, Dodgers,Royals, Red Sox, Yankees, Nationals, Rays, Braves, Phillies, Angels, Astros, Padres, and the Giants. Today’s Major League key matchups look like this Adbert Alzolay pitching for the Cubs vs. Bryse Wilson for the Braves, can Atlanta sweep the Cubs? Trevor Bauer and the Dodgers taking on Eric Lauer and the Milwaukee Brewers at 7:40pm tonight. Jordan Montgomery and the New York Yankees taking on Jorge Lopez and the Baltimore Orioles today in an afternoon matinee at 1:05pm.

NBA- In the NBA tonight the Dallas Mavericks take on the Detroit Pistons. The Indiana Pacers will play host to the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee is in Houston while Golden State is in Minnesota. The end of the NBA season is about two weeks away with a couple of teams on the bubble of making a play in game, these last two weeks should be interesting.

NHL- Winners last night in the National Hockey League include Senators, Blues, Maple Leafs, Oilers, Golden Knights, Ducks, and the Sharks. The 2019 Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues are heating up as the postseason nears. As we get into the NHL playoffs I like the Blues as a favorite to possibly win another Stanley Cup.

Weather- Cloudy this afternoon turning into showers as we reach the end of the school day high 61F. Winds NW at 10 to 20MPH chance of rain 40%. Tonight, partly cloudy high of 43F. Winds NW 10 to 15MPH. For Friday mostly sunny with a few clouds from time to time with gusty winds high 59F. Winds NW at 20 to 30MPH.
