Indians Host Eagles

Indian News . Grant Four Volleyball is set for next week with the varsity event on Saturday, and the junior varsity competing on Wednesday. MCSCAthletics.com has more information on both events including the event pairings.

Sectional pairing information is available online with upcoming IHSAAtv shows releasing both the volleyball and football match-ups.

MHS Boys Tennis . The Indians wrapped up the season as a team last night with a loss in the sectional championship to Marion 3-2. The singles courts were lost, but the doubles served wins in the contest. One-Doubles of Riley Fuqua and Ryan Scott will advance in the Individual Bracket next week.

Argylls Come to Town

Indian News . Homecoming culminates today with the launch of the Class Games & Pep Rally at 12:45pm, live on TribeTV’s YouTube channel. The parade will start at 5:30pm followed by the football game and festivities at 7:00pm. The game will be live on MCSC Athletic’s YouTube channel with Ryan Scott and Ean Van Winkle on the call.

All this week, TribeTV and the MHS Pep Club urge everyone to use the hashtag “MHSChampsHoco19” when sharing your photos, videos, and memories to build a united collection from our tribe of excellence.

MHS Boys Soccer . Mississinewa topped Maconaquah last night 4-0 with Holden Brown netting two for the Indians. Thomas Steelman and Colin Yoder added the other goals. Yoder picked up an assist, and Cody Nantz recorded three saves in goal.

MHS Volleyball . The Lady Indians defeated Marion last night 3-2 in a tough cross-county battle. No official report was made for complete statistics.

RJB Athletics . The 6th grade volleyball team topped Maconaquah last night. The 7th grade girls defeated Frankton, while the 8th grade Junior Lady Indians lost to the Eagles.

Seniors Take Powder Puff

Indian News . The Juniors and Seniors found themselves in the championship last night of the 2019 Powder Puff Game. The Seniors ended up taking the trophy 12-6.

Today the student’s are dressed in their class colors and competing during school in the Brain Game & Music Bee along with the preliminary rounds of the Class Competitions. This event is available on TribeTV’s YouTube channel (live at 9:15am).

Tomorrow, TribeTV will have coverage of the 2019 Homecoming football game against Madison Grant with the stream starting at approximately 6:45pm on MCSCAthletic’s YouTube. Prior to the game, our school community can tune into TribeTV’s YouTube channel at 12:45pm for the Pep Rally & Class Games that should last until 2:30pm.

MHS Boys Tennis . Coach Fleming and the Indians made it a quick 5-0 win over Elwood last night to move to 4-0 in the conference and 14-3 on the season. The team has secured a share of the CIC title with that win. As a team, they only dropped two points to the Panthers all night. The Indians play in the Homestead Invitational on Saturday.

MHS Girls Soccer . Last night’s Lady Indians soccer game against Muncie Burris was cancelled. This event will not be rescheduled as of now. The team will play on Saturday with the boys at Blackford.

RJB Athletics . Tennis battled Madison Grant last night. The Junior Indians split the appearance with the boys losing 4-1, and the girls winning 5-0. Smith won at 3-Singles for the boys, while Cook, Bernius, and Wilson picked up Singles wins for the girls. On the girls Doubles courts, Frantz/Joseph and Ayers/Neal both won.
