Varsity vs Wabash High School (7 - 2) Win The Baseball Team was triumphant over Wabash 7-2 on Friday. They took the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third thanks to home runs by Deakon Dilts, and Mason Cox. We scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Kaiden Campbell drew a walk, scoring one run, Mason Cox singled, scoring one run, Leyton Stearns singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs. Kaiden Campbell earned the win on the mound for the Indians. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking two. Kenny Ayala made an appearance in relief. Mason Cox led our team with two hits in three at-bats. Lio Matamoros and Mason Cox each drove in two runs on the evening.
