Varsity vs Southern Wells Jr-Sr High School Win Kenny Ayala struck out 11 batters as he led the Indians to a 6-0 victory over Southern Wells on Saturday. Kenny Ayala only allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings while only walking one. A single by Lio Matamoros put Mississinewa on the board in the top of the second inning. Mason Cox went one for three at the plate as the infielder led the team with two runs batted. Lio Matamoras and Beans Fortney, Mason Cox, Nolan Quaderer, and Leyton Stearns each collected one hit for the Indians. Lio Matamoros, Nolan Quaderer, and Deakon Dilts each stole multiple bases for the Indians. As a team Indians stole eight bases.
