Varsity vs Huntington North High School (8 - 4) Win Varsity Baseball defeated Huntington North last night, 8-4. Deakon Dilts led the Indians with three hits as Mississinewa defeated Huntington North 8 to 4. Dilts hit a solo home run to left in the first inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the 4th inning. In the bottom of the third Mississinewa took the lead after Kaiden Campbell singled, Lio Metamoros walked and Nolan Quaderer singled each scoring one run. Three more Indians crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to seven to one. Mason Cox doubled scoring one run, and Kohen Bailey homered to left scoring two runs. Kaiden Campbell earned the win for the Indians on the mound. Kaiden Campbell allowed three hits and one run over five innings striking out six. Kenny Ayala collected the save. As a team, the Indians accumulated 10 hits, and Kohen Bailey and Mason Cox each drove in two runs for the Indians. Defensively the Indians were flawless not committing a single error in the field. They host Frankton on Thursday, starting at 5:30pm.
