Tonight, the rivalry continues as the Mississinewa Volleyball team will travel to Marion to take on the Lady Giants inside the Bill Green Athletic Area. The Lady Giants are currently 4-9 on the year and 0-2 in the North Central Conference, recently falling to Norwell 3-1. Meanwhile, Mississinewa currently sits at 11-4 and 0-2 in the Central Indiana Conference. The Indians fell to Alexandria back on Tuesday 3-2. Anytime Marion and Mississinewa get together it has a big game feel, and we expect much of the same tonight. The match is scheduled to start at 6pm with the JV and the Varsity will follow. Tonight’s theme with be “USA” come on out to Marion, be LOUD, be PROUD, and show your INDIAN PRIDE.
Boys Tennis
Mississinewa Boys Tennis continued the undefeated streak in the CIC last night by defeating the Elwood Panthers 5-0. Senior, Riley Fuqua earned his 71st victory of his career. Senior Ryan Scott is 5 wins away from joining Fuqua as the all time leading winners in Boys Tennis history. The Indians are back in action on Saturday at the Homestead Invitational scheduled for 9am.
Boys Soccer
The Mississinewa Boys Soccer team will finally have a home match tonight as they welcome the Maconaquah Braves to Gas City and Charlie Fisher Field for a 6pm match. Coach Reel and the Indians are looking to ride the momentum wave into tonight after a win over Wapahani back on Tuesday night. Come on out and support your Indians tonight.
