#20 ranked Mississinewa Boys Tennis improves to 4-0 on the year defeating Western 4-1. Riley Fuqua won at #1 singles 6-0, 6-2. Hayden Rowley won #2 singles 6-3, 6-0. At #3 singles it was John Oliver taking care of business winning 6-0, 6-0. Ryan Scott and Ethan Sample made up the #1 doubles team who also won their match 6-3, 6-0. #2 doubles of Kannen Smith and Garrett Spencer battled hard but fell in their match 6-3, 6-2 (6-10). The Indians are back in action tomorrow as they travel to Northwestern.

Girls Soccer
Mississinewa Girls Soccer plays with grit, heart, and effort. The Lady Indians battled a very tough Huntington North team fighting and clawing hard with the Vikings in the first half trailing 3-2 at the break. In the second half the Vikings worn down the Indians pulling away and scoring another three goals in the second half defeating the Indians 6-2. Goals were scored by Lia Luchetti and Audrey Spencer. The Indians will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to take on county rival Oak Hill.
Volleyball
The Lady Indians Volleyball team is 6-1 on the year and looking to improve to 7-1 will host the Lady Norse from Northfield High School tonight at 6pm. The Indians are rolling with a lot of momentum right now and would love to see the student section and crowd bigger than it was on Monday night. Tonight’s theme will be a “BLACKOUT”. Come on out at 6pm and cheer on your Lady Indians. Wear BLACK, BE LOUD, BE PROUD, and show your INDIAN PRIDE.
