Boys Soccer. The team took down Peru 15-0 on Saturday. The Indians put up 50 shots. No other stats were reported at the time of post.
Cross Country. Marion Invitational at IWU. Girls placed 9th, & Boys 3rd out of 10 teams. Medalists, 10th place C. Fones- 21:37, 14th place R. Tippey – 22:02, 13th place J. Alsup 18:26, 18th place Z. Huffman 18:54. 19th place T. Parish 18:57, 22nd place C. Dorothy 19:02, 34th place was S. Bolden 19:41.
Girls Soccer. Girls Soccer was cancelled on Saturday.
Boys Tennis. The Boys tennis team traveled to Fort Wayne Carroll on Saturday. They lost round one to #10 Carroll 5-0. Second round fell just short to #24 Delta 3-2. Final Round beat three time Semi State finalist Concord 5-0.
Football. The Indians jumped to a 42-0 lead within the first 12 minutes of the game and from then the Tribe was in cruise control for Friday night lights. It was a good night for the Indians but a special night for 10th year head coach Curt Funk as he now owns the school record as the team beat Legendary Coach Carlie Fisher’s record, the record was 72. Even tho the team just beat a record that was set for years the team sets there eyes on Eastbrook. Carson Campbell rushed for three touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass. Tai McClung rushed for two touchdowns and had an interception. Kaden Cole caught a touchdown pass. Andrew Castenon rushed for a touchdown. Gage Peterson rushed for a touchdown. John Hall rushed for a touchdown. Hayden Nelson rushed for a touchdown. Landry Rock rushed for a two point conversion. Ethan Bennett and Andrew Cruz each had a touchdown pass. Andre Sallade kicked in nine PATs. Week 4 and panther week starts at 8am Saturday morning said Coach Funk. The Indians look to go 4-0 and 2-0 in the Central Indiana Conference as they travel to Eastbrook this Friday for a 7pm kick off time.
