Indian News . Any girl interested in playing golf in the Fall 2019 season needs to pick up an information packet from Mr. Simpson before Friday.
A volleyball call-out meeting will be held tonight from 3:15-3:30pm for any girl interested in playing in the the Fall 2019 season. Contact Coach Bolser with any questions or concerns.
Any boy interested in playing basketball needs to see Coach Reed before leaving for the summer this Friday.
Any student interested in running Cross Country in the Fall 2019 season should attend the meeting Wednesday, May 22 in the MHS Cafeteria immediately after school.
MHS Girls Track & Field . Beth Lucas is the second girl in Mississinewa history, according to Coach Arbogast, to advance to the IHSAA State Track & Field Finals which will be held next weekend in Bloomington. Lucas will compete in the 300m hurdles. Carli Fones also competed last night in the 400m at the Marion Regional at Indiana Wesleyan, but Fones will not advance. Fones is a junior this year at MHS.
Tonight’s Events . Boys Golf will tee off tonight at 4:30pm. Baseball competes in the Sectional at Bellmont, and the Lady Indians will take on a tough Bellmont team tonight in Round Two of IHSAA Sectional play here at Mississinewa starting at 5:30pm.
Weather Outlook . Rain will continue this morning until noon. This afternoon temperatures will reach close to 80 by the start of the softball event. Thursday will look identical to today with rain and storms in the morning, and clearing skies in the afteroon with a high of 81.
