Tribe Sports Report

Baseball . The Indians defeated Blackford last night at Atkinson Field 4-3. No official statistics were reported.

Boys Golf . Mississinewa topped Wabash and Elwood last night 169-194-216. Ty Corey shot a 38 for the Indians followed by Justin Dakin (41), Bryce Luedtke (44), and Ryan Scott (47).

Softball . The Lady Indians finally traveled to Madison Grant after several postponements. Mississinewa defeated the Argylls 5-4 in 8 innings with Jenna Berryhill on the mound. Berryhill struck out 4 while walking 5, and giving up 5 hits. Lexi Cruzan was 2-4 at the plate. Madison Dotterweich recorded a double with 2 RBIs on the evening. Coach Miller and the Lady Indians are now 7-1, and they are 1-0 in the conference.

Tonight’s Events . Track hosts Eastbrook and Marion in their only home meet of the year starting at 4:30pm. This will be a senior night event. Girls Tennis also serves at 4:30pm against Western here at Mississinewa High School. Softball hosts Blackford in a JV-Varsity double header starting at 5:00pm.
