Tribe Sports Report
MHS Girls Tennis . There will be an informational meeting for all girls and their parents regarding the upcoming spring season. This meeting will be Wednesday, February 20 (tonight) at 6:00pm in the high school library. Girls interested in playing must attend this event.
MHS Boys Basketball . Mississinewa lost to New Castle last night in their final test before the IHSAA Sectional begins next Tuesday. The Indians lost 76-62. The junior varsity also fell to the Trojans 44-41. Coach Reed and the Indians face Norwell on Tuesday, February 26 at Bellmont High School in the opening game of Sectional 23. That game will start at 6:00pm, and TribeTV will stream the contest live. The pre-game show will start at 5:45pm.
Tonight’s Events . RJB 6th grade Girls Basketball hosts Montpelier tonight at 6:00pm.

Today’s Sports World Update
NBA . (ICYMI)The NBA returns from the All-Star break on Thursday, but the next Pacers game is Friday (7:00pm) against the Pelicans. Indiana is 38-20 going into Bankers Life against New Orleans.
NCAA Men’s Basketball . Indiana continues to struggle as they lost last night to #15 Purdue 48-46 at Assembly Hall. Kentucky and Tennessee both won in other top contests around the country. Tonight all focus turns to one of the biggest games of the year as #8 North Carolina travels to Cameron Indoor to take on the #1 Duke Blue Devils (9:00pm, ESPN).
NCAA Women’s Basketball . #1 Baylor hosts Kansas tonight and #3 UCONN hosts Memphis in the big match-ups in women’s hoops.
Golf . (ICYMI) The PGA Tour returns to the WGC-Mexico Championship this weekend. Phil Mickelson is the defending champion in Mexico City with a total purse of over $10.5 million.
Soccer . The Champions League saw scoreless draws in both the Bayern-Liverpool and Barcelona-Lyon matches. Atletico Madrid plays Juventus and Schalke 04 takes on Manchester City in UEFA action today.
NAIA Athletics . The Lady Wildcats of IWU defeated Grace 81-74 yesterday. The men’s team plays Huntington today at 7:00pm. The Lady Trojans of Taylor defeated Spring Arbor yesterday 80-55. The men take on Spring Arbor today at 7:00pm.
