Weather Updates . Subscribe to MCSC Athletics on Twitter and Facebook for continued weather information from Mississinewa Community Schools as we transition from the winter sports season to the spring.
MHS Girls Tennis . There will be an informational meeting for all girls and their parents regarding the upcoming spring season. This meeting will be Wednesday, February 20 at 6:00pm in the high school library. Girls interested in playing must attend this event.
MHS Boys Basketball . The Indians will play the Norwell Knights on Tuesday, February 26 at Bellmont High School in Decatur to open up Sectional 23 of the 2019 IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament. TribeTV will have live coverage from this event.
Tonight’s Events . RJB 6th grade Boys Basketball travels to Marion Justice for a 6:00pm start. Mississinewa Boys Basketball hosts the New Castle Trojans in the final game before sectional action begins next week. The junior varsity tips at 6:00pm, but you can watch live on TribeTV starting at 5:45pm.

Today’s Sports World Update
NBA . The NBA returns from the All-Star break on Thursday, but the next Pacers game is Friday (7:00pm) against the Pelicans. Indiana is 38-20 going into Bankers Life against New Orleans.
NCAA Men’s Basketball . #3 Virginia topped #20 Virginia Tech 64-58 to fire up rivalry week last night. #15 Purdue travels to Indiana tonight (7:00pm, ESPN2) at Assembly Hall.
NCAA Women’s Basketball . #5 Notre Dame topped the Lady Wolfpack of NC State last night 95-72. #2 Oregon lost to #12 Oregon State 67-62.
Golf . The PGA Tour returns to the WGC-Mexico Championship this weekend. Phil Mickelson is the defending champion in Mexico City with a total purse of over $10.5 million.
Soccer . Manchester United defeated Chelsea in the FA Cup 2-0 to end it’s title defense. The first leg of the Champions League features Bayern Munich and Liverpool as well as Barcelona taking on Lyon today.
NAIA Athletics . Indiana Wesleyan Baseball continues today as well as Lady Wildcat Basketball with a Crossroads League Quarterfinal game against Grace at 7:00pm. The Lady Trojans of Taylor also face a Quarterfinal today against Spring Arbor in Upland. Taylor Women’s Golf is participating in the Georgetown College Invitational all day today.
