Tribe Sports Report
Sectionals . TribeTV student-media productions will stream wrestling, girls basketball, and boys basketball sectionals live on the MCSC Athletic’s YouTube channel. Wrestling sectionals will be held this Saturday at Oak Hill High School starting at 9:00am. The girls basketball team will play Columbia City at the IHSAA Sectional 23 at Norwell High School next Wednesday, January 30. The Lady Indians will tip at 7:30pm, but the stream will start at approximately 7:15pm.
Tonight’s Events . The RJB 6th grade Girls Basketball team will travel to Alexandria for a 5:30pm game. 6th grade Boys Basketball will host Wabash at 6:00pm, and the RJB Girls Basketball team will play at Kokomo Maple Crest this evening starting at 6:00pm.

Today’s Sports World Update
NCAA Men’s Basketball . Tennessee earned a top ranking this week, and had a scare last night as they slid by Vanderbilt 88-83. #6 Michigan State faces #19 Iowa tonight, and #21 NC State will take on #23 Louisville.
NCAA Women’s Basketball . #2 Baylor defeated #20 Iowa State 84-69 last night in ladies hoops. #3 UCONN also won big against SMU.
NAIA Athletics . Indiana Wesleyan Lady Wildcats basketball defeated Mt. Vernon Nazarene yesterday 71-49. Nicole Ignasiak netted 19 points for IWU in the win. The Taylor Lady Trojans basketball team defeated Marian yesterday 70-63. Kendall Bradbury led Taylor with 17 points.
NBA . Indiana topped the Raptors last night 110-106 at Bankers Life. Thaddeus Young scored 23 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the win. Victor Oladipo was stretchered off the court with what seems to be a serious knee injury.
