MHS Wrestling . Mississinewa competed in the Elwood Super Duals on Saturday. In Round One the Indians defeated Speedway 63-3. Ole Miss continued the success through Rounds Two and Three beating Brebeuf (57-11) and Cristo Rey (60-15). The Indians lost in the Final Round to Greencastle 44-30.

MHS Girls Basketball . On Friday, the Lady Indians hosted CIC opponent Eastbrook at Mississinewa High School. Coach Tandy and the team won 62-38. Caily Bolser scored 28 points with 11 boards and 6 blocks in the win. Riley McKee scored 13 points for the Lady Indians. The junior varsity had a solo-game at Caston on Saturday and picked up a win 33-24.
MHS Boys Basketball . First year Coach James Reed and the Indians played their first contest at home on Saturday against Northwestern. The Indians lost 51-46. Tai McClung had 15 points in the game to lead scoring for Mississinewa. The junior varsity squad won 58-47 with three players scoring in double figures.
Tonight’s Events . RJB Girls Basketball will play at Blackford tonight at 6:00pm.

Today’s Sports World Update
NFL . The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Colts 6-0 this weekend. Indy is now 6-6 on the season. Andrew Luck threw for 248 yards with an interception. All scoring came from the Jaguars kicking.
NCAA Football . The final CFP Rankings are out and Alabama is at the top followed by Clemson, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Oklahoma defeated Texas on Saturday 39-27 in the Big12 Championship. Alabama took down Georgia in the SEC, and Clemson handled Pitt in the ACC. Despite UCF winning the AAC Championship and remaining perfect, they did not make the playoffs finishing with a CFP ranking at #8.
NBA . The Pacers lost to the Kings over the weekend 111-110. Indiana is back in action on Tuesday against Chicago at 7:00pm.
NCAA Men’s Basketball . #1 Gonzaga won big over the weekend over Creighton 103-92. Kansas and Duke also reeled in wins. The Big10 featured #7 Michigan and #19 Purdue on Saturday. The Wolverines grabbed the win 76-57.
NHL . The big result in hockey on Sunday was the shootout win from Mark Scheifele and the Jets over the New York Rangers 4-3.
Soccer . Cross-town rivalries heated up in the EPL this weekend. Arsenal took Spurs 4-2, Chelsea shutout Fulham 2-0, and Liverpool edged Everton 1-0. Manchester City sits atop the table with 38 points and a 2 point edge over Liverpool. Across town, the Red Devils of United are struggling with only 14 points and a minus-one goal differential.
Golf . Jon Rahm won the Hero World Challenge this weekend at Albany. Rahm took home $1 million with a 4 stroke win over Tony Finau.
