Girls Soccer Wins Big

Tribe Sports Report

MHS Girls Golf . Coach Simpson and the girls golf team defeated Wes-Del last night. Peighten Allen was the medalist with a 51.

MHS Girls Soccer . The Lady Indians defeated Wapahani on the road 8-3 last night.

MHS Boys Soccer . Boys Soccer came away with a draw against the Wapahani Raiders at Fisher Field 1-1. Collin Yoder had the only goal for the Indians, while Conner Layman recorded 3 saves in the net.

MHS Volleyball . Volleyball lost to Alexandria 3-1 last night and now faces a battle for second place in the CIC. The Lady Indians and Tigers were the only two teams left undefeated in the conference.

RJB Sports . There were no results reported on RJB Tennis, Cross Country, or Volleyball from last night.

Tonight’s Events . Girls Soccer will host Muncie Burris at 5:30pm tonight. Boys Tennis will also battle for a conference win with the Elwood Panthers here at Mississinewa starting at 5:00pm. RJB Tennis travels to Madison Grant for a 5:00pm first serve.


Today’s Sports World Update

MLB . The Detroit Tigers lost to Houston last night 5-4. Cincinnati topped the Dodgers 3-1. Cleveland defeated the Rays 2-0. The Cubs won 3-0 over the Brewers, while the White Sox lost 6-3 to Kansas City. Lastly, the St. Louis Cardinals won 11-5 over Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.

Soccer . The US Men’s National Team defeated Mexico last night 1-0 on a 71st minute goal by Tyler Adams.
