MHS Boys Soccer . Mississinewa defeated Peru last night 5-0. First year coach Jared Reel had the Indians ready to meet the Tigers on Fisher Field for their home, and season opener. Connor Layman had 2 saves in goal against only 7 shots from Peru. Holden Brown and Noah Black each recorded 2 goals, and Collin Yoder added another to the total.

Tonight’s Events . Girls golf hosts Blackford and Madison Grant at Shady Hills at 5:00pm. Girls soccer opens up their season at Fisher Field against Manchester at 6:00pm. Live coverage of Lady Indians soccer will be provided by TribeTV on MCSC Athletic’s YouTube starting at 5:45pm.

PGA Golf . After this past weekend’s PGA Championship, the focus turns to Greensboro, North Carolina and the Wyndham Championship. This event will begin tomorrow.

Premiere League Soccer . Week two of the EPL fires up Saturday with Cardiff City taking on Newcastle at 7:30am.

NASCAR . On Saturday, the Monster Energy Cup will be at Bristol Motor Speedway. Kevin Harvick is the points leader followed by Kyle Busch.
