Tribe Sports Report
MHS Baseball . Mississinewa lost 11-5 yesterday to the Marion Giants at Atkinson Field. The Giants scored 5 runs in the last two innings to pull away for the win. Senior Conner Fritch took the loss on the mound after 4 innings of pitching. Seth Maddox pitched a little over 2 innings in relief. Senior Cade McCoin led the Indians at the plate going 2-4 with a double, triple, and an RBI. Landen Swanner, Drew Castanon, and Tyler Jakob each added a hit for the Indians.
RJB Golf . The Junior Indians earned another win at Shady Hill defeating McCulloch 212-238 last night. 8th grader Ryan Scott shot a 39 to earn the medal.
RJB Soccer . Karver Jones, Mason Reel, and Evan Yoder each had two goals in an 8-0 win over the Kokomo Lady Wildcats last night Elliot Williams and Lia Luchetti each added a goal.

Tonight’s Events . Softball faces Eastbrook tonight in a varsity-JV doubleheader as Baseball takes on the Panthers at Atkinson Field. Girls Tennis will host Southwood. All high school events start at 5:00pm this evening. RJB Golf takes on Wabash at Honeywell tonight at 5:00pm. RJB Softball will travel to Fairmount to play Madison Grant at 5:30pm, and RJB Soccer will play Oak Hill at 6:00pm at Mississinewa High School.

NBA . Philadelphia avoided the sweep last night with a win over Boston 103-92. Dario Saric scored 25 points to help the 76ers stay alive. Cleveland swept the Toronto Raptors with a 128-93 win last night at home. Lebron James continued to lead the Cavs with 29 points on 12-19 shooting.
Game 5 action in the Western Conference begins tonight at 8:00pm on TNT. Houston hosts the Jazz in the early contest followed by New Orleans at Golden State. Houston and Golden State lead their series 3-1 and can look toward a match-up against each other with wins tonight.
NHL . Washington capitalized in overtime to defeat Pittsburgh last night 2-1 to claim the series. Brayden Holtby had 21 saves for Capitals. Nashville forced a Game 7, scheduled for Thursday, with Winnipeg with a 4-0 win last night. Two players had 3 points in the game. Nashville will host the final game in the series and can be seen on Thursday at 8:00pm on the NBC Sports Network.
