Tribe Sports Report
JV Softball and Girls Tennis were both rained out last night. Rescheduled dates for both of these events have yet to be established.
James Reed will take the helm of the Indians Boys Basketball team for the 2018-2019 season after being approved last night by the Mississinewa Schools Board of Trustees. Reed has been an assistant under Coach Andrew Evertts, and is an Exceptional Education teacher at Mississinewa High School.
MHS Baseball . The JV Indians traveled to Maconaquah last night and moved to 2-1 on the season with a 18-5 victory. Hunter Ribble earned the win on the mound and batted 2-4 with 5 RBIs. Landen Swanner was 2-2 with 2 walks and 3 RBIs, and Brendan Gochenour batted 2-3.
Tonight’s Events . Girls Tennis travels to Western, Boys Golf tees off at Elwood, and Track & Field will host Eastbrook starting at 4:30pm. Baseball will visit Blackford with the JV and Varsity Softball teams to take on the Bruins. Action in Hartford City begins at 5:00pm. RJB Baseball plays at Wabash at 5:00pm, and RJB Softball hosts Cowan at 5:30pm.

NHL . The Toronto Maple Leafs tied their series with Boston last night 3-3, after winning 3-1. Washington wrapped up the series with Columbus with a 6-3 win. Toronto and Boston will play Game 7 on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
