This Week’s Events . The 6th grade basketball season continues with several contests this week. RJB wrestling reaches the midpoint of their season. This March we are celebrating the Unified Champions teams. This week kicks off a series of great events. Be sure to follow MCSC Athletics on Facebook and Twitter for all the breaking updates.

Today’s Sports World Update

PGA Tour . The Valspar Championship at Innisbrook begins tomorrow in Florida. The defending champ is Adam Hadwin.

MLB . Opening Day is quickly approaching as all teams will play on Thursday, March 29th. This is the first time since 1968 that every MLB team will open on the same day. The Cubs open at Miami, Houston at Texas, St. Louis at the Mets, the Royals will host the White Sox, and the fully-stocked Yankees will travel to Toronto just to name a few of the match-ups from day one.

NBA . The Indiana Pacers, at 37-27 face the Utah Jazz tonight at 7:00pm.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Notre Dame defeated Pittsburgh in the ACC Men’s Tournament last night 67-64.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . The Ball State Lady Cardinals are pushing forward with their great season, and will compete in the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament tonight against Western Michigan. Game time is at 7:30pm and can be seen on ESPN3.
