Tribe Sports Report

Mississinewa High School Senior Honor Night for winter athletics is this Friday, April 16 at approximately 7:00pm. The event will take place immediately after the Boys JV contest with Eastbrook. TribeTV will have live coverage of the entire evening on MCSC Athletic’s YouTube channel.

Kyler Funk will wrestle at approximately 7:00pm on Friday at the State Finals in Banker’s Fieldhouse. TribeTV is not permitted to cover the event, but a live stream is provided at IHSAAtv.org.

Tonight’s Events . 6th grade Boys Basketball plays at Madison Grant tonight at 5:00pm.

Today’s Sports World Update

Winter Olympics .  Shaun White had a huge run in the final to earn a score of 97.75 and claim the gold in the men’s halfpipe.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Georgetown defeated Butler last night 87-83. Kelan Martin had 22 points in the loss. The Ball State Cardinals took down the Akron Zips 90-77. Trey Moses scored 22 points and pulled down 13 boards. The Indiana Hoosiers will play Illinois tonight on the Big Ten Network at 8:30pm.

NAIA Men’s Basketball . Indiana Wesleyan lost to Mount Vernon Nazarene 83-81 last night. Across the county, the Taylor Trojans fell in overtime to Huntington 102-99.

NAIA Women’s Basketball . The Lady Wildcats face Mount Vernon tonight. Taylor has a home game with Huntington.
