Frosh lose to Marion in tough battle

Tribe Sports Report

MHS Boys Basketball . C-Team basketball followed up last night with another contest against Marion. The freshman team lost 42-31.

RJB Boys Basketball . 6th grade visited Justice to play an A and B game. The A-Team lost 67-27. Nolan Quaderer led the team with 10 points. The B-Team also lost 26-14.

Tonight’s Events . This weekend the Indians will travel to Frankton on Friday for a CIC Boys Hoops battle before Kyler Funk wrestles at the Fort Wayne Semi-State on Saturday.


Today’s Sports World Update

Winter Olympics . Curling, Freestyle Skiing, and Ski Jumping are the current events taking place at the winter games. The United States is 1-1 in the Mixed Curling competition.

NBA . The Pelicans and Pacers game was put on hold due to moisture on the court, and an apparent leak in the roof.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . #14 Ohio State upset #3 Purdue in Mackey Arena last night 64-63. Carsen Edwards had 28 points on 8 of 13 shooting for Purdue in the loss. Tonight, one of the biggest rivalries in college basketball will take place on ESPN at 8:00pm between #9 Duke and #21 North Carolina.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . Purdue takes on Minnesota, and Indiana faces Illinois tonight. Both games start at 7:00pm.

NAIA Men’s Basketball . On Saturday, the Wildcats will face Saint Francis on the road as Taylor hosts Goshen.

NAIA Women’s Basketball . Looking ahead to the weekend, IWU plays at Saint Francis on Saturday, and the Lady Trojans will host Goshen. Both of those games start at 1:00pm.
