RJB Girls Hoops advance in CIC

Tribe Sports Report

RJB Girls Basketball . The 6th grade team played Kokomo last night at R.J. Baskett and won both games. The A-Team won 48-16. Sophia Morrison scored 14 points. The B-Team also won 10-2. The 7th and 8th grade girls kicked off CIC Tournament play with wins over Blackford. The 7th grade Lady Indians won 34-28. Bushman had 14 points. The 8th grade girls won 46-30. Sophia Corey had 15 points. Both teams will play at Eastbrook on Wednesday in the Eastbrook High School gymnasium. The 7th grade team plays at 6:00pm, and the 8th grade squad will play at 7:15pm.

MHS Boys Basketball . The Freshman Boys Basketball team played Frankton last night and won 45-27.

Tonight’s Events . There are no events tonight for RJB or Mississinewa High School. Don’t forget that the Lady Indians face Marion in the IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional 23 at Bellmont on Wednesday at 6:00pm. TribeTV will have live coverage.

Today’s Sports World Update

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Indiana faces #17 Ohio State tonight at 7:00pm. Hoosiers can catch that game on ESPN2. Ball State takes on Toledo at 7:00pm on ESPN3.

NBA . The Pacers beat the Hornets last night 105-96 to move to 28-23. Victor Oladipo scored 25 points in the win. Blake Griffin was the big story last night as it was released he has been traded to the Detroit Pistons from the Clippers.

NAIA . The Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats face Marian tonight at 7:00pm on the road. Taylor Men’s Basketball travels to St. Francis. The Indiana Wesleyan Women play Wednesday at Marian along with the Lady Trojans who travel to St. Francis.
