RJB Boys move to CIC Championship

Tribe Sports Report

RJB Boys Basketball . The 8th grade squad is moving on to the CIC Championship after defeating Oak Hill last night 36-21. Lucas Asbury had 14 points and 9 rebounds. Dakota Ancil scored 11 while adding 5 boards. The Junior Indians will play at Frankton this Saturday at approximately 10:00am.

Tonight’s Events . MHS Girls Basketball will make up their game with Blackford tonight at 6:00pm. This game will be live on YouTube. RJB Girls Basketball hosts Kokomo at 6:00pm. 6th grade boys will travel to Wabash while the 6th grade girls stay at home to battle Alexandria. Both of those games also have a 6:00pm start time.


Today’s Sports World Update

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Indiana lost to Illinois last night 73-71 to move to 12-9 (5-4 in the Big Ten). Juwan Morgan had 28 points. #3 Purdue takes on #25 Michigan tonight on ESPN at 7:00pm.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . Ball State Lady Cardinals defeated Bowling Green 82-41. Indiana took down Wisconsin 69-55, and Nebraska defeated Purdue 75-51. #5 Notre Dame faces Pittsburgh tonight at 7:00pm on the ACC Network.

NBA . Indiana won last night 116-101 over Phoenix. Thaddeus Young went for 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting. The Pacers led the entire game.

NAIA Basketball . The Taylor Trojans Men’s Basketball team takes on Marian on Saturday at 3:00pm in Upland. Indiana Wesleyan hosts Bethel also on Saturday at 3:00pm.
