Tribe Sports Report
MHS Boys Basketball . The Indians faced a tough opponent tonight in the rebuilt Blackford Bruins. The C-Team began the night with a 42-21 win over the Bruins in the auxiliary gymnasium. At the same time the JV was scooping up a huge win 57-17 to move to 12-2 on the season. Tai McClung had 17 points and Colin Yoder added 14. The varsity capped off the night by controlling the second half and more importantly the last stretch of action for the 60-54 CIC win. Thabit Gault had 21 points and 11 boards for the Indians. The Indians are on the road Friday to visit Alexandria.
MHS Girls Basketball . The Lady Indians struggled tonight in Frankton. The JV lost 33-42. Coach Tandy and the varsity squad lost 69-32. The game seemed put to rest when the Eagles won the third quarter 19-0. Riley McKee led the Lady Indians with 8 points. Holli Greer posted 6 points and 9 rebounds. The Lady Indians host Blackford on Thursday at 6:00pm. Fans can watch live on MCSC Athletics YouTube.
RJB Boys Basketball . The 6th grade boys are firing up their season. The team won tonight over Alexandria 46-36. Mason Cox and Gannon Smith each scored 13 points for the Junior Indians.
Tonight’s Events . MHS Boys C-Team will host Cass at 6:00pm. That game will be live on YouTube.

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Ball State was defeated in overtime to Kent State 88-80. The Indiana Hoosiers face Illinois tonight on the Big Ten Network at 9:00pm.
NCAA Women’s Basketball . 15-3 Ball State plays Bowling Green tonight on ESPN3 at 7:00pm. The Lady Hoosiers face Wisconsin at 7:00pm, and Purdue takes on Nebraska at 8:00pm.
NBA . The Indiana Pacers play the Phoenix Suns tonight at 7:00pm.
NAIA Basketball . Indiana Wesleyan defeated Goshen 85-69 to move to 17-6 on the season. Taylor won tonight 74-67 over Spring Arbor. The Trojans are now 13-10.
