Tribe Sports Report

MHS Boys Basketball . The C-Team began the night with a loss to the Braves 43-29. Coach Cunningham and the JV team improved on their great season with a 36-32 win fueling a great performance by the varsity in the evening’s main event. The Indians won 63-42. The team prepares for a tough battle against Blackford on Friday night. That event will be a triple-header with all three games being played in the main gym. Tonight’s Events . MHS Wrestling hosts Southern Wells at 6:00pm while Coach Tandy and the Lady Indians are on the road at Northfield. RJB Boys Basketball play Southern Wells at home and the girls team travels to the Raider Dome. Both of the middle school contests start at 6:00pm.

Today’s Sports World Update

NCAA Men’s Basketball . Notre Dame fell to Georgia Tech last night 60-53.

NBA . The Indiana Pacers lost to Miami 114-106. Victor Oladipo had 26 points on 9 of 20 shooting.

NCAA Women’s Basketball . There was loads of action last night for the state schools in womens college basketball. The Indiana Hoosiers lost to #23 Michigan last night 84-79. Purdue defeated Rutgers 47-33, Butler lost to St. Johns 73-55, and Ball State improved on their outstanding season defeating Akron 74-61. #2 Notre Dame at 15-1, faces #3 undefeated Louisville tonight at 7:00pm on ESPN.
