Tribe Sports Report
MHS Girls Basketball . The Lady Indians hosted Oak Hill on Saturday. Erika Foy past the 1000 point mark during the game. She is only the fourth Lady Indian to surpass that mark in school history. Mississinewa came up short losing to the Golden Eagles 78-32. Foy had 12 points in the game. Tyler Bartel added 10 points to make up the bulk of the Lady Indians scoring. Bartel and Foy each had 4 rebounds while Ally Hewitt added 3 rebounds and 4 assists.
MHS Wrestling . The Indians competed in the Lapel Invitational on Saturday. The team went 0-5 on the day. Kyler Funk won the championship in his weight class.
MHS Boys Basketball . The Indians played three games at Oak Hill on Friday. The C-team lost 54-15, and the junior varsity won 38-34. Landen Swanner had 14 points and Payton Enser had 8. The varsity team was defeated Friday night 50-30 at Oak Hill. Jalen Martin and Thabit Gault scored 9 for the Indians.
Tonight’s Events . RJB Girls Basketball travels to McCulloch tonight for a 5:00pm start.

NFL . The Indianapolis Colts battled in a blizzard against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and lost in overtime 13-7. Jacoby Brissett was 11-22 for 69 yards with 1 touchdown. Frank Gore had 36 carries for 130 yards, and Marlon Mack led the Colts in receiving with 2 receptions on 20 yards.
NBA . The Pacers defeated the Denver Nuggets 126-116 in overtime. Victor Oladipo had 47 points on 15-28 shooting with 6 assists in his 45 minutes of play.
NCAA Men’s Basketball . #21 Purdue defeated IUPUI 86-61.
NCAA Women’s Basketball . Purude lost to Ohio this weekend 77-71, and the Ball State Lady Cardinals improve to 9-0 as they defeat Oakland City 126-55.
