Girls Basketball . The Lady Indians had mixed results this weekend. On Friday the team defeated Manchester 64-55. Ally Hewitt led the scoring with 16 points followed by Erika Foy (15), Alayna Webb (13), and Halle Planck (8). Planck and Foy each grabbed 6 boards for the Lady Indians. On Saturday Bishop Luers came to Mississinewa and took the win 58-44. The Lady Knights outscored the Lady Indians 19-9 in the opening quarter. Erika Foy was the only player in double digits with 13 points as well as 11 rebounds. Turnovers plagued the team as they totaled 24 in the game. Coach Tandy commented, “We were confident being down at halftime because we were there last night and responded. We just haven’t gotten over the hump yet. We are gaining the experience needed to play such well coached and experienced teams, but it takes time. It is a process.”
