Football . The Mississinewa Indians tremendous season came to an end Friday in Greenwood, Indiana as the Woodsman upended their semi-state hopes 34-27. With hundreds of Mississinewa fans in attendance and over 700 watching at home, the Indians fought hard for their fans and came out on a mission. Dustin Patton seamed to ignite the fans with an early defensive show, as the Indians claimed early control. In the end, touchdowns from Senior Cade McCoin as well as three from Heisman Skeens were not enough to overcome Greenwood. Junior Sam Tarpein added 3 extra points for the Indians.
Girls Basketball . The Lady Indians defeated Maconaquah 93-26 on Saturday. The Junior Varsity also won 49-31. Girls basketball will be on the road at Bluffton early this week before another two-game stretch this weekend at home. Both home games can be watched live on MCSC Athletics YouTube.
