Mississinewa Football defeated Frankfort on the Hot Dogs home field Friday 65-20. Senior Cade McCoin rushed for a touchdown and threw two to Junior Heisman Skeens, who had three rushing touchdowns as well. Drew Castenon added a touchdown. Freshman Andre Salade kicked 7 PAT’s while Josh O’Connell added two himself. The Indian’s defense, led by Senior Dustin Patton caused a safety.
Tickets . Friday’s Sectional 21 football game at Fisher Field will be between Mississinewa and Marion with kickoff at 7:00pm. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 24 at the Main Office of Mississinewa High School. Fans may purchase tickets between 7:30am and 3:30pm each day this week. Pre-Sale ends Friday at Noon. On Saturday, Brennan Butche advanced for Mississinewa Cross Country to the State Finals which will be held at the Wabash Valley Sports Center in Terre Haute next Saturday, October 28. The Boys Race is at 1:00pm. Admission to the events in Terre Haute is $10. Alternatively, you can watch live on IHSAAtv.org. MCSC Atheltics would also liek to recognize Aurora Fisher and her fantastic season that ended Saturday at the Semi-State race.
