Tribe Sports Report

Lady Indians Volleyball experienced some late-season struggles as they fell last night to Pendelton Heights 4-1. The junior varsity had a little better luck with a 2-1 win. The Lady Indians finish out CIC action on Thursday against Frankton on the road. The IHSAA Sectional 23 agenda was released yesterday, and the Lady Indians, who drew Heritage, will play on Saturday, October 14 at 11:30am at Mississinewa High School. If the team should advance to the championship, that game time is 4:00pm on the same day.

There was no report from R.J. Baskett on the results of the football and volleyball contests.

Ole Miss Youth Sports would like to invite everyone out to the Pigskin Classic to watch our 6th Grade Football team play this Saturday, October 7th at Mississinewa High School. Kick-off for the first game is at 12:30pm. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children above 5 years of age.

New York 8-4 Minnesota (AL Wild Card). The Yankees will face Cleveland in the division series. Colorado will face Arizona tonight at 8:00pm (TBS) in the National League Wild Card game.

Pacers open up the season tonight at Milwaukee at 8:00pm.

NFL
The Patriots (2-2) will face off against the Buccaneers (2-1) for Thursday Night Football. The Colts host San Francisco at 1:00pm (Fox) on Sunday.
