Coach Bruce Fleming describes last night’s CIC battle on the courts in which Mississinewa won 3-2, “On Monday, the Ole Miss Boys Tennis Team traveled to Alexandria to compete against the Tigers in a conference match. The Indians grabbed an early lead with quick wins at #3Singles, by Paxton Sample, and #1Singles, by Isaac Torres. After Alexandria captured the #1Doubles match and was winning the #2Doubles position, Conner Murphy was mounting a first set comeback that gave him tremendous momentum heading into the second set. Murphy secured the team’s important 3rd point to give the Indians the victory. Mississinewa is now 10-4 overall and 3-0 in the CIC. Ole Miss will travel to Elwood on Wednesday for another conference matchup.”
Girls Golf competed at Shady Hills against Oak Hill last night. The Lady Indians lost 222-204. Davis shot a 47 (3 strokes off the medalist), followed by LaBarr’s 55, Tignor (57), and Pannell (63).
