The Alexandria Tigers were the big opponent across the board in several CIC events last night. Baseball hosted Alexandria and won 15-5. Gage Gallion earned the win on the mound. Noah Harris had three hits. Lucas Richards, Cade McCoin, Garrison Smith, Gage Gallion, and Andruw Weiss had two hits. Weiss also added in a double. The Indians will play at Frankton tonight.
Junior Varsity Baseball defeated Alexandria 8-1. Owen Felver was 2 for 3 with a double, and he also pitched the complete game for the win.
Softball lost to Alexandria 3-8. They will play again tonight as they host Southwood.
Junior Varsity Softball defeated the Tigers 15-1. They finish CIC play 6-0.
Breyton Berryhill (39) was the medalist for Boys Golf as they took on Alexandria and won 173-206. This was the team’s lowest 9-hole round of the year. Josh Dakin shot a 41 followed by Doak Labarr (46) and Braden Henry (47).
The Delta Eagles handed the Lady Indians Tennis team a loss in their final match of the season 0-5. The Eagles are ranked #16 in the state. The Junior Varsity also lost 3-4 behind wins from Gabby Stephenson, Abigail Tignor, and Amiah Lewis. Girls Tennis will play Marion on Wednesday in the IHSAA Girls Tennis Sectional at Marion High School.
