The Girls Tennis team recorded their eleventh win of the year over South Adams last night 3-2. Here is what Coach Fleming had to report, “On Tuesday, the OleMiss Tennis Team traveled to South Adams for an impromptu match. Mississinewa was scheduled to play Southwood but instead found themselves on the way to South Adams after their original opponents were forced to cancel to make up a conference match. After OleMiss won the first two singles positions and the Stars won the two doubles matches, the deciding singles position moved into a third set. Maggie Herring captured the third set to give the Indians the team win. Mississinewa is now 11-3 overall. OleMiss will play at conference foe Frankton Wednesday.”

Heavyn Miller and Abigail Tignor were the Singles winners. Tignor/Gray combo won in the Doubles.
Softball dropped a CIC contest to Elwood 1-8. Kait Leavitt and Erika Foy pitched in the loss giving up 14 hits, walking one, and striking out two. Darcie Patton went 2 for 3 with two doubles. Erika Foy and Mallory Sands each had singles. Junior Varsity Softball defeated Elwood 8-0. Davis (2-3, 3B), Dotterweich and Swafford (2B), Berryhill and Vasquez (Singles). Berryhill pitched a complete game no-hitter with 9 strikeouts.
Baseball lost to Elwood in a close game 0-1. Junior Varsity Baseball defeated Blackford 8-5 on the road. Cade Campbell went 3 for 4 and pitched 5 innings for the win. Malcolm O’Brien was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s.
