Monday, May 1, 2017 . Story by Brooks Holloway, MCSC Media Director

Friday evening was the Grant Four Track & Field event. Mississinewa Boys & Girls both placed third with a score of 37. There were a lot of great performances by the Boys, but no event winners. The Girls were lead by a great performance by Carli Fones. Fones won the 100m, 200m, and set a school record in the 400m (1:02.44).

The only event to occur on Saturday without postponement was Girls Tennis. The Lady Indians played Frankfort at the Howard County Indoor Tennis Center winning 5-0. Their next match is Tuesday at Alexandria. The JV Lady Indians tied 1-1 with Abigail Tignor winning her singles match.
