Boys Golf competed against county and CIC opponent Oak Hill last night losing 185-170. Mississinewa was led by Josh Dakin (39) who was two shots off the medalist Adam McDivitt (37), followed by Breyton Berryhill (47), Braden Henry (48), and Doak Labarr (51). The JV also lost with A.J. Cragun and Devon Dill shooting a 64, and Wesley Steely topped the JV shooting 55. Boys Golf compete next at the Taylor Invitational this Saturday at 9:00am.
Madison Grant defeated our Lady Indian Golfers last night 4-1. Here is Coach Bruce Fleming on the action, “Haleigh Rowley gave the Indians a quick and short-lived lead with her victory at #1 singles. Madison Grant immediately tied the score with a win at #3 singles. The second sets at the remaining three positions were competitive but all favoring the more experienced Argyles.” JV also lost 5-3. Heavyn Miller was the only Singles winner. Tennis is now 7-3 on the season (1-1 CIC) and will play in the Peru Invitational on Saturday.
Batch Ceesay signed last night his commitment to Bluffton College to play basketball and continue his academic career. Congratulations to Batch and his family!
